Due Date has Come and Gone

January 30th - Since we have been anticipating the date for the past nine months, we decided to celebrate with a nice dinner out . It may be our last is quite a while! We enjoyed a nice evening at Jak's. Kevin also tracked down the Guess How Much I Love You baby book and surprised me with it!

And still...no baby!

We had our 40 week appointment today and the little girl has still yet to drop!! While it is possible for her to come on her own within the next week, at Dr. Nudelman's suggestion we went ahead and scheduled an appointment for induction the evening of February 5th. This means she will most likely share a birthday with Julianna (Feb. 6th) instead of Grandpa Mark (Jan. 30th) - still pretty cool! We are both so excited to meet our sweet baby and hope we have everything ready for her arrival. One funny thing we have noticed is that every time we contact friends or family we have to preface the conversation with "no baby" so that they don't assume we are calling with good news!

39 weeks

Scout is continuing to GROW! Erin is not sure she can get any bigger, but it seems that the little one is planning on taking her sweet time!

Scout's Nursery

Together we have enjoyed getting the nursery ready for our little one. Kevin and his parents worked on putting up beautiful molding in the room. We used the Guess How Much I Love You book as inspiration for the room and found the most adorable Twinkle Twinkle bedding complete with little bunnies!

37 weeks

I am continuing to GROW!!! At 37 weeks, little "Scout" measures at 39 cm or 39 weeks and Dr. Nudelman indicated that she can arrive at any time. We are getting very anxious to meet our little gal! We are still discussing names and have a playful debate about how much hair she will have. Mommy didn't have much hair in her first few years where Daddy had a thick head of dark hair!
