We are enjoying every moment with our adorable baby girl! Her sweet personality is starting to emerge. We came home from the hospital on February 4th and so far thing are going pretty smoothly. Grandma Jan and Grandma Carol have been helping us out and we are extremely thankful!

We have decided that "Scout's" actual name will be - Clara Natalie Michael.

10 lbs 0 oz

Not quite yet....

...but Erin has made a lot of progress in the last couple of hours. We think Scout will come for sure this afternoon!!! Time, of course, TBD (we are tired of guessing wrong...so we'll just have to see whether it is early afternoon, late afternoon, or that "six o'clock" afternoon).

So much for that prediction...

It is 8:10 and we haven't started pushing yet. Hopefully Scout will still come this morning!

Progress!

Erin has been in and out of the jacuzzi tub and is now resting comfortably after having an epidural. The nurse predicts the pushing will start around 6:00 am and Scout will arrive at 8:00 to 9:00 or so. This is, of course, only a prediction....

Update: We are at the hospital!!!

Erin started having contractions about 12:30 this morning. They lasted all day and got strong enough that we went to the hospital at 8:00 pm. We still have a ways to go, but it looks like there is a good chance Scout will be born on February 2nd. Our fingers are crossed!!!
