Preschool Halloween Party

What a fun experience it was to attend Clara's preschool Halloween party.  It just happened to work out that we were all able to go together and Kevin and I were absolutely tickled and beaming with pride watching our little Ariel perform the songs with her class.  They sang Fall is Here, Mr. Pumpkin and Five Little Pumpkins, complete with all the hand motions.  And while Clara didn't sing as confidently (and loud) as she does at home, we could hear her well amongst the group.

In the past two months of preschool, we have seen a lot of great changes in Clara.  She has really developed her art skills, willingness to listen to (and give) directions, improved conversation skills, and come home with sweet tid-bits of knowledge.  The highlight just might be hearing her recite the Pledge of Allegiance flawlessly and some of the adorable little songs she sings.

We are very happy with the program and her caring teachers.  She continues to have zero hesitation about going to school or about me leaving her there.  The hugs when we go to pick her up are amazing.  Each day in the car ride home she tells me about what some of the kids shared (last activity of the day) and of course, most importantly, what they had for snack.

After the songs, the kids got to go Trick-or-Treating at the offices in the Community Center.

Then it was time for treats!!!
