We were so excited to take Janie back to our favorite photographer, who did her newborn photos, our maternity shots and several sessions with Clara. Aileen has so many fun props, great backgrounds and an artistic eye and Janie Bug is at such a fun, smiley stage. Well, things did not go as I had hoped...
We started out trying to get a photo of the two girls together. Janie, still getting the hang of the sitting up thing, leaned into Clara a little and Clara squeals "She's pushing me" and shoves Janie over, causing her to bump over. That made her mad, and while Mommy tried all the tricks, I couldn't get Janie to share her sweet smile the rest of the session. In the photo above, you can see her red eyes and unsure expression. Oh well, we are going to try again in another session.
On the bright side, while Mommy was calming Janie, Scout got to play dress up and get her photo taken and this one turned out pretty cute!
