Going Back... Taylor turns FIVE!!

I am a little late on this post (well over a month ago now) but our sweet niece Taylor Alain turned FIVE this year and we celebrated her birthday with a fun Hello Kitty theme on St. Patrick's Day this year.  As always, Clara was very eager to make the trip to see her cousins and loved all the party fun!

Danielle and Hailey made these adorable cake pops for the kids!  What a hit!

In the weeks before, every time I would ask Taylor what she wanted for her birthday she would always respond, "A pink kitchen like Clara's." I tried to explain that a kitchen may be a little out of the price range for her birthday present, but still, she was persistant.  When I found this sweet little kitchen that was a little taller than Clara's, I decided to see if others wanted to go in on a group gift to make Tay's birthday wish come true.
On the day of the party we got Clara to tell her that we forgot her gift.  She told her we got her some "ninja stuff."  You could see the dissapointment in poor Tay's face.  After all her other gifts were opened and she was off playing, we snuck the kitchen in and had her come back to the living room.  She instantly got a huge grin and gave Clara a big hug. Apparently the little gal has been "cooking" up a storm in her room ever since!  Clara LOVED being in on the special surprise, too!
