UW Pride & Crossroads Spray Park with Michele

We can't believe the summer is almost over. We were able to snag some time with Auntie Michele before her school year starts, and of course the '09 football season! This visit Michele, the super fan, brought Clara MORE UW clothing including this jersey. (She also got some cowgirl clothes from Michele's recent trip to Texas.) We really thought Clara had everything UW for kiddos, but Michele convinced us these items are the styles for the new season! It was fun because Clara fell in love with the shiny material of the jersey and REFUSED to take it off. It was in the high 80's and she was wearing this heavy jersey over her shirt! Silly kiddo! We played along and got her to pose for some photos with her Husky DAWG. You have to love her #1 finger!!

Later in the day, we took Clara to the spray park in Crossroads. This was our first visit and Clara had a good time. With each exposure to the sprinklers, she does a little better with them. By the end of the trip she and Michele were having fun in the sprinklers. At first she looked like the above photo - running from the squirting water!

The park has a neat whale and sea life theme

Such a fun way to spend a warm afternoon
